Shipping & Returns

Unsuitable Goods

Unsuitable goods not withstanding our warranty policy, if you are dissatisfied with our goods or service you may return the goods within seven days of our despatch date. At your own expense  We will only refund your purchase less 30% restocking on receipt of the goods.

All returned goods must be in "as sold" condition including all packaging, instructions, invoices etc. We do not accept unauthorised returns. 

Change of Mind

Please choose your product/s carefully, as Sydney Cleaning Supplies do not  provide refunds for products where you have simply changed your mind or have found it else where cheaper. This includes returns where you have selected a size of an item, or where you simply selected the wrong

Product after you have purchased it. Change of mind returns are not permitted. 

Sale items

sale items cannot be refunded.

Faulty Goods

Where such goods have been supplied we undertake to repair or replace first based on an "express service" basis. It is important to obtain an authorisation number prior to returning any goods to us from customer services. As we do not accept unauthorised returns at the warehouse. A charge of 30.00 (ex GST) will apply where we need to inspection if there is no fault found with the equipment.

We will email you an authorisation form of this before we can take action.

Refund Policy

Items purchased via this site may be refunded within 48 hours of delivery ONLY for any unopened product only. 

To complete your return or refund, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.


All claims after this point will be rejected unless required by law. Refunds will not be given if you supplied an incorrect delivery address and your parcel did not arrive.  To obtain a refund, firstly an authority to return number must be sought from Sydney Cleaning Supplies, then the goods may be returned at the expense of the purchaser.

As an alternative to a refund, Sydney Cleaning Supplies may arrange for goods to be exchanged or repaired before a refund is considered. 

Customers must choose their purchases carefully as customers are not entitled to a refund if they simply change their mind or order a quantity no longer wanted.  
Customers will have the choice between repair, replacement or full refund in the instance of major faults or defects.

As for Chemical Products ( there is no refund ) as we are unable to determine if the product has been opened / used or being tampered with and unable to re-sell the item once it is shipped from our warehouse. 

 PLEASE NOTE: If you have paid for your order by Paypal or credit card, The refund amount will be less the fee charged by the merchant.

Visa and Master card Merchant fee is 1.5% and if paid by AMEX its 2.4% If paid by paypal its 2.6% so the refund will be less the merchant fee.

Non-returnable and Refundable Goods:

  • Goods returned by other than the original buyer

  • Goods over 5 business days from receipt of delivery

  • Goods made to order and/or customised.  This includes our complete range of janitorial products,  and Chemicals which is hazardous or dangerous goods.  This range of dangerous goods chemical / products are made to order according to the customers orders online or in-person, and cannot be returned or refunded.  Customers who want to dispose of the product can contact us to organise a return at their own expense and we are happy to dispose of it and return to the manufacture, after agreed in writing.

Delivery 

Delivery of items is subject to availability, and Sydney cleaning supplies cannot accept responsibility or liability for any item it is not able to supply for any reason.
We encourage you to visit the "Your Account" section on our website to view the delivery status of your product(s) or contact us.

Depending upon your location, delivery can take up to 7 working days.  We will make every effort to deliver your product(s) according to the estimated delivery times provided at checkout. 

If at checkout it states you are outside the Sydney Metro Delivery area This means there will be a delivery cost - Please contact us on 02 9188 5099 to obtain a delivery Estimate or email: sales@sydneycleaningsupplies.com.au If your order still is processed and you know you are outside the Sydney Metro area, Please be prepared there will be additional delivery fee and one of our staff will be in contact with.

PLEASE NOTE: A re-delivery fee will be charged if no one is at the premises to accept the goods and there was no delivery note attached to the order.

The estimated delivery times are in business days (Monday through Friday) excluding public holidays.

Sydney Cleaning Supplies does not take responsibility for any incorrect or incomplete order details including but limited to delivery address, contact details or email given upon purchase and the subsequent failure of delivery as a result. 

Re-delivery fees will apply when:

  • Incorrect order details are given upon purchase and the delivery fails as a result. 
  • Rejecting or refusing a delivery service.
  • The driver has attempted to deliver your items by the confirmed booking details advised. If the delivery is not successful, the courier company will send the items back to the depot or to the Sydney cleaning supplies warehouse. 

In these cases, a re-delivery fee will be charged before goods are dispatched to you again. The re-delivery fee will be based on the fees charged by our delivery/courier companies. Should you choose to cancel your order at that time, cancellation fee will apply and the delivery charged at the time of purchase will not be refunded. 

DELIVERY DELAY NOTICE

Thank you for your patience while we process all orders. Our delivery services appear to be overwhelmed by a recent surge in orders, We know it can be frustrating when a delivery date is uncertain, We will do all we can to make sure you get your shipment as soon as possible.

We have taken sufficient measures to remedy this situation, we ask you to please bare with us.
Please email customer service if you wish to pick up your order instead of waiting for deliveries if its urgent and if your order is in stock. Please allow for the warehouse to get this ready and we can notify you when it is ready for collection.

Some stock is on back order and we unable to have each item modified online, If you are concerned about making a purchase for an item please contact our office on 02 9188 50099 or email us in the contact us page if the item is in stock or will be put on backorder. 

Backorders can take 1 week we will advice you if your order will be delayed more then our standard 7 day delivery term, or an alternative will provided.
